外国人向けワークショップ：名前を漢字で書いてみよう

日本を旅行する、また日本に住んでいる外国人向けに、日本の伝統文化として書道を学ぶ英語対応のコースがございます。
このコースでは、美しい物語を持つ漢字をご自身のお名前に当てはめ、その文字を書いていただきます。
自分で墨をすり柔らかい筆で書く体験には驚きがいっぱいです。一度のチャンス、一枚の紙だけが与えられ、 心をすっきりさせて作品を書くという書道体験の真髄を知ることができます。ワークショップ後は自分だけの作品をお土産として持ち帰ることも、飾ることもできます。
またワークショップ内ではデモンストレーションも行うため、プロの技術をご覧になれます。

Workshops for non-Japanese: Let's write your name in kanji

For non-Japanese people who are travelling or living in Japan, there is a course available in English in which you learn shodo as a traditional Japanese culture.
In this course, you write your name adapted in kanji characters which have a beautiful story.
There'll be much surprise in experience of grinding an inkstick yourself and writing with a soft brush. You'll learn the heart of shodo practice: when you create your work, you have one single chance, one single sheet of paper and need to clear your mind to get focused. At the end of a course, you'll get your own creation you can take back home as a souvenir and display in your room.
Also I offer a demonstration in a lecture, so you can see a professional's writing technique.
